Write for us architecture

Ready to share your expert advice with our readers? Lines and Volumes publishes blogs on architecture, interior design, outdoor spaces, and real estate for enthusiasts.

We welcome your thoughts, ideas, and expertise on our platform. We built this platform on curiosity, with the sole purpose of sharing innovative, creative, and inspirational content with our readers.

So whether you are a blogger, industry expert, contractor, project manager, interior architect, or someone who wants to share the experience of building their own house, we would love to hear your voice.

Why Write For Us And What LV is Looking for in a Pitch?

Our primary audience comes from the architecture and home improvement field. There are thousands of sites that share ideas, but our aim is to reach the right audience with our content.

We are interested in beginner architects, students with college projects, architects shaping the industry, property developers, and commercial builders who want to share their projects.

We accept original ideas, not the recycled ones, please be specific, and review our website to understand our audience (primarily architecture landscape) before approaching us.

Business impact matters, please aim for ROI and explain how your content or design contributes to business profitability, long-term value creation, or efficiency.

Write like you are explaining to an informed reader, keep it clear, direct, and thoughtful, no fluff, no filler and avoid buzzwords unless necessary.

We encourage global case studies, especially from New York, Dubai or London.

High-Quality Visuals are a plus, especially if your work includes professional architectural photography.

Topics You Can Pitch

We love submissions which go beyond surface-level, at Lines and Volumes, we’re interested in architecture that is explained, questioned, and broken down with valid points.

  • Project-Based Articles
  • Design Insights
  • Architecture + Ideas
  • Technical & Educational

What We Don’t Accept

We do not accept promotional or sales-driven articles, thin or poorly researched content, or AI-generated or rewritten submissions created solely to gain mentions or backlinks.

  • We do not accept other category articles
  • We will not accept anything related to Casino, CBD and cryptocurrency-related content
  • Previously published work
  • Generic listicles (like “Top 10…” style posts)

How to Pitch Your Submission

We are purposely keeping the pitching process simple and not overly long. What matters to us is whether your idea fits our platform.

Start by sending a clear pitch which explains the topic in a focused manner.

If you have previous writing samples or a portfolio, that would be great if you include them as well.

We try to respond within a reasonable timeframe, but we also focus on quality over speed.

Guidelines To Follow

The article must be human-written, AI generated articles will be rejected.

All submitted content must be original, including the text, images, and any other materials you share.

Clear content structure with proper headings, sub-headings, bullet points and relevant keywords.

Please do not use jargon just to meet the required word count.

Keep the article word count range between 600–2,000 words long, with in-depth guidance and proper credits.

We appreciate an author bio with your submission, along with a link to your website or social media.

We accept only finished articles submitted as Word documents. We do not accept PDFs or any other formats.

Editorial Rights

We reserve the right to edit your content for grammar, structure, readability, and clarity. In some cases we may adjust headings, trim some sections or re-organize the article for better overall flow. These changes are made to fit our editorial style, with the intention of improving clarity, not altering your core ideas. We can also delete the content or remove the link if required in future.

Once published, Lines and Volumes retains the right to keep the content live on the platform.

By submitting your work, you agree to these editorial terms.

Final Note

Our platform is built for contributors who take architecture seriously, not just content, but with an intent to explain well. If you’re looking for a quick publish or something very generic, then this platform may not be the right fit.

If you have something thoughtful to say and can communicate it with clarity, please get in touch at [email protected].
